About.

I love to use storytelling to inspire action, build meaningful connections, and inspire positive community impact.

I have cooked in commercial kitchens, patrolled urban cities, shot professionally for studios, worked technology sales across the Midwest, and I have collaborated creatively with several underground artists and creative souls. These broad experiences have granted me the gift of viewing the world through a unique perspective— And empowered me with the skills to communicate effectively through visual formats such as photography, cinematography, and strategic marketing.

With over 10 years of experience spanning digital marketing and creative content production, including significant hands-on social media management, portrait photography, music video production, and both for-profit and non-profit marketing, I provide a proven ability to develop compelling content and execute strategies that provoke critical thought, drive engagement, and build community—Solving challenges through creativity and collaboration.

I offer a variety of services independently including creative writing, media production, social media marketing, and commercial brand design.

One word that most accurately defines me— Storyteller.

Telling stories with heart and soul— And Lego.

What does an old video camera, Lego minifigures, and a kid with a lot of time on his hands have in common?

At age 12, I began making stop-motion animated videos with Lego, sharing them on my YouTube channel Steadman Studios. In 2013 I published my debut 30-minute film, "Black & White," a fun, animated adventure about friendship, rivalry, and overcoming adversity, which has reached nearly 15 million views to date. After producing several thought-provoking short films throughout my early years, what would become my final animated work, "Keeper," was published on the channel in 2015.

These were tales of growing up, stories of feeling lost, lonely, and stories of falling in love; tales of adventure, and making new friends along the way; stories of choosing to do what is right and carry on in spite of the challenges we might face– Stories told with heart and soul.

Communication is key.

Strong communication empowers us to express ideas effectively, build meaningful relationships, and cultivate a sense of community.

At its heart, communication is about deep understanding, empathy, and that feeling of real connection. It’s what allows us to share the diverse tapestry of our thoughts and ideas effectively. It's how we forge meaningful relationships, weaving them together through shared moments and experiences. And it's how we build communities – places where shared goals create a comforting sense of belonging.

This power to connect shines brightly through visuals, too. Photography and film have this incredible ability to speak directly to our shared humanity, capturing universal emotions and experiences in a way that builds bridges of empathy. Similarly, brands that truly resonate often do so through visual storytelling, tapping into our fundamental hopes and needs to create a sense of connection and loyalty.

Ultimately, whether spoken, written, or seen, communication is essential. It's how we express the core of who we are, connect meaningfully with the people around us, and navigate the complex journey of being human, side-by-side. It's the very foundation of healthy relationships, strong communities, and a society that truly thrives – enabling us to share our inner worlds and find belonging and purpose together.

After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.
