This is a simple, static personal website. It asks for nothing and collects only the minimum a web server needs to serve a page.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit hmsteadman.com (the "Site"), the personal website of Hayden M. Steadman. The Site is operated and maintained on Hayden's behalf by Ethereal Lens Media, LLC. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

The Site has no contact forms, accounts, logins, comments, or e-commerce. We do not ask you for personal information, and we do not knowingly collect it.

Server and connection data

Like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data your browser sends with each request — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the time of your visit. This is used to deliver the Site securely and to protect against abuse. We do not use it to identify you.

2. Tracking Technologies

Cookies

The Site does not set its own tracking cookies and does not run advertising or cross-site tracking.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service, to understand aggregate traffic (such as page views and general referrers). It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect personal data or build a profile of you. No consent banner is required because no personal data is collected for this purpose.

3. How We Use Information

The limited technical and aggregate data described above is used only to operate, secure, and improve the Site — for example, to keep it online, defend against malicious traffic, and understand which pages are useful. We do not sell, rent, or trade information about visitors.

4. Disclosure of Information

Service Providers

We share data only with the infrastructure providers that make the Site work:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting (Cloudflare Pages), content delivery, security, and the privacy-first Cloudflare Web Analytics described above.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Hayden M. Steadman or Ethereal Lens Media, LLC.

5. Third-Party Links

The Site links out to third-party destinations, including Ethereal Lens Media, LinkedIn, and YouTube. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites; their own policies govern your activity there.

6. Data Retention

Aggregate analytics are retained by Cloudflare according to its retention policy. Technical request and security logs are kept only as long as needed for operations and security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because the Site is designed not to collect personal data, there is typically little or nothing to act on — but you are welcome to contact us with any request and we will respond in good faith.

8. Children's Note

The Site is a general-audience personal portfolio and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

9. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS with modern security headers. No system is perfectly secure, but because the Site collects no personal data, there is minimal visitor data at risk.
